Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your Wildfound candle. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our very best to put it right quickly and fairly.
1. Your right to cancel (EU 14-day cooling-off period)
You have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order.
To exercise this right, please email team@wildfound.ie with your Order Number and let us know you’d like to cancel/return.
2. Change of mind – return conditions
If you’ve changed your mind, you can return your order provided that:

The items are unused and unburned

They are in their original packaging and in resalable condition

You contact us within 14 days of delivery
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
3. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your candle arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, please email team@wildfound.ie within 7 days of delivery, including:

Your Order Number

A brief description of the issue

Clear photos of the product and packaging
Once reviewed, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund, including any standard shipping costs you paid on the original order, where required by law.
4. Items we cannot accept back
We’re unable to accept returns for:

Candles that have been used, burned, or significantly handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them

Sale items or gift cards

Any product returned damaged or incomplete due to improper packing by the customer
If a returned item is not in a resalable condition, we may have to decline the refund and return the item back to you.
5. How to start a return

Email team@wildfound.ie with your Order Number and reason for return.

Once your return is approved, we’ll send you the return address and instructions. It is the customer’s responsibility to download/print any return label where applicable.

Carefully pack your items to avoid damage in transit and obtain proof of postage.

6. Refund processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm approval or rejection.

If approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the refund on your statement.
If more than 14 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still haven’t received it, please contact your bank or card provider first, and then email us at team@wildfound.ie.
7. Exchanges
We don’t currently process direct exchanges. If you’d like a different scent or product, please follow the return process above for a refund and place a new order through the website.

If you’re unsure whether your order qualifies for a return, or you’d like help with a candle that isn’t burning correctly, email us at team@wildfound.ie – we’d rather talk it through than leave you stuck with something you’re not happy with.
